Thursday




The basketball goal is almost ready to use.  The older students are becoming excited to finally see the results of their fundraiser.

This is the first day of many opportunities to worship the Lord.  St. Mark's has services tonight at 7PM, Friday at 7PM, and Sunday at 7AM & 10:30 AM.

On a personal note, please keep my Mom in your prayers since she was taken to the hospital by ambulance this morning.

Wednesday



The 3-4 graders shared some of their time yesterday with the PK students.  They made Easter projects.

Easter Egg Hunt – March 26, 10am
All families of St. Mark’s school and church are invited to attend the annual Easter egg hunt!  This fun event will be held on Saturday, March 26 at 10am.  Pastor Fenker will first lead us in a  devotion.  The egg hunt will then begin; there will be designated egg hunting areas for all age groups of children so that they can all have a fun, fair time!  Refreshments and craft will follow.  Bring your Easter baskets!

The National Lutheran Schools Accreditation team is busy at St. Mark's. They have a challenging task of gathering information that will help our school construct a new school action plan. We will hear their report at 3:30 PM today.

Mrs. Mayo's class had fun with an Easter activities with Mrs. Reynolds' PK class.

Tomorrow's chapel will focus on this Holy Week.

Parental Thought:  Houseplants add beauty and warmth to any home, but some can pose a danger for your small children.  Do your homework and choose wisely.

Monday



The Science Fair was very successful in teaching the students the scientific method.  This project was one of five winners.

All the students are starting to practice the music for the upcoming musical on April 29.  Everyone in in the church practicing right - all together.  It sounds great.

The visiting team of 5 educators are on campus for 3 days evaluating the school and helping us write our school action plan.

Parental Thought:  Toddlers learn by repetition.  Be willing to read the same book over and over and practice the same words and skills with them daily.

 Mrs. Reisenbichler's first grade class is studying snacks.  They made snake eyes as part of their study.

The Science Fair is tonight starting at 7PM.  All are invited to view the wonderful projects.
